A Brief Introduction...

Nicola Sime is the owner of Sunny Park Stables, established in 2003, in Benoni, on the East Rand. She is a qualified FEI level 2 instructor, SANEF instructor and equitation judge. She successfully trains children, juniors and adults, to all levels of show jumping.

Nicola's coaches have been Gonda Betrix (show jumping) Adriaan Van Wyk (flat work - dressage) and Dominey Alexander. She has jumped at international level from 2004-2008 with her horse, Sharp Colt. This partnership has proved formidable over the years. Sharp Colt came into Nicola's life as a naughty, 4 year old, novice E grade. Unfortunately he broke his leg February 16th 2009. He was 15 years old.

She now has 3 top horses which she has schooled from novice to open in 2 years and she is currently ranked in the TOP 10 SA showjumpers.

Dedication, determination & hard work have been the main attributes to the success of this stable yard.

The property was purchased by Nicola in 2003 and since then we have seen the transformation from a derelict piece of ground to a busy, bustling stable yard.
