[dropcap style=”font-size: 70px; color: #052b51; font-family: ‘Droid Serif’, Arial, sans-serif;”] T [/dropcap] his month’s Gauteng Horse Mag had a very well thought out and written article on Page 24 and 25. It could be considered somewhat contentious but is something we all need to keep in mind – whether livery clients or stable owners.
The article is titled “When stable yards show you the door – could you be next?” To often we all (owners and clients) become susceptible to negativity. We also begin to look on the stable yard and the people in it as more than what it actually is. This is a fantastic piece to read to determine if you may be walking a slippery slope and also to remind us that, at the end of the day, our grooms and staff are just that – employees hired to do a job with set out duties in a specified set of hours. While we were unable to transcribe the entire piece here, we’ve included a screen shot. If you’d like to read the article you can do so online by visiting the Horse Mag website. The article appears in the latest issue on page 24 and 25. Click here to read it.
