Local showjumper Jaimie Riley successfully defended her national Pony Rider 1.10m Derby title at the Toyota SA 2025 South African Derby, held at Kyalami Park in Midrand on October 4.
Riding her exceptional pony, Sunny Park Scooby Doo, Riley delivered a lightning-fast 39.32-second jump-off round, securing victory and leaving the rest of the field trailing behind.
“Jaimie showed incredible determination and precision. It was a masterclass in skill, courage and composure under pressure,” said Jaimie’s mom, Nicola Sime-Riley.
