[dropcap style=”font-size: 70px; color: #052b51; font-family: ‘Droid Serif’, Arial, sans-serif;”] T [/dropcap] he “big” shows have finally started and the yard has been busy as our top competitors start getting into the swing of the showjumping season. We’ve had some fabulous show results this month and all our riders can be extremely proud of their accomplishments:

 

 

13 & 14 April – Witkoppen

Sam Pascoe and Melissa placed in both 1.20 classes.

Katie Sime & Fit Sports Lab State Secret came 7^th and 8^th in the 1.10 classes (their first time back at this height since their tumble last year – well done!)

Bronwyn received a 5^th and 8^th place on Brandy.

Christi got a 13^th place on Hero.

Nicola Sime and Eastern Paradise placed 4^th and 6^th in the 1m classes.

17^th – 21^st April – Maple Ridge

Sam Pascoe and Melissa – 5^th in the 1.20 competition

Sam Wright and Tolano van ‘t Riethof placed in the 1.30 competition

Nicola Sime and Crispin got an 8^th place in the 1.30 competition and a 13^th place in the 1.30 speed.

Nicola did extremely well in the second leg of the President’s Cup. She had the only two double clears in the class which meant she finished in first place on El Paso and second on Connoisseur.

28^th April – Pony Riders’ Derby

Tayla and Bodenhausen Le Chocolatier placed tie 4^th in the Derby! Well done!
